Creative agency Thomas Miller Ltd were commissioned by their client, travel insurance firm Cover For You, to devise a advertising campaign for broadcast on UK terrestrial TV across the busy Christmas week of 2017. Thomas Miller had already designed and exhibited a print campaign, and they engaged us to work with them on developing the television campaign from this creative.

The creative was based around an old-fashioned, black and white image of quirky early 20th century holiday-makers/travellers. The creative we developed had to be informative and entertaining in a punchy 20-second spot.

We devised a campaign around two comical turn of the century mountaineers, reaching the summit of Everest only to be asked by a vintage voice-over if they’d remembered their travel insurance. This was shot entirely against green screen, with two actors, sourced costumes and quirky animation adding to the humour of the spot – which was written, produced and directed entirely in-house by us at Face TV.
