A TV commercial made entirely from stock footage; that was the brief from agency Thomas Miller for their client… to advertise The London Boat Show.

Stock footage was necessary as the client wanted to show images of activities and locations that couldn’t have been filmed without an enormous budget and months of shooting.

The end result, when edited against a pumping soundtrack, was an effective and evocative commercial that formed part of a campaign which achieved an 80% uplift in advanced bookings for the show.

This project was such a success that we were asked to create a new TV ad for the show for 2016.
